Design and TESOL: A Crossover
There are processes within a designer that the educational community, and more importantly, that those in TESOL need. As both designer and teacher, a clear understanding of both subjects has presented me with the knowledge to thoroughly evaluate each of the processes at hand, and question the possibility and application of informed duality within the designer. This becomes possible through two known approaches to educational design, in which techniques become developed under the term design thinking. With the successful applications of design and instruction, students gain access to personally curated resources, allowing them to thrive within their roles as language learners.
