Originally from Rochester, NY, I earned my BFA in graphic design from the University of Tampa. Being in such an artistically diverse environment allowed me to develop interests within multiple fields of study and implement those interests into my design work. As I develop within my career, the importance of research within design has become a key feature of my work. I believe that to create something meaningful, one must first understand and empathize with whom they are creating for. My most recent project “Joys and Sorrows” has opened up my passion for social design and advocating for human (and planet) rights. I now hope that as I travel, design will become a tool that empowers those around me and that I may learn from those I meet, curating a repertoire of culturally purposeful design.
